Tilespell Trail · Brelsford Software LLC · Last updated 14 September 2026

Tilespell Trail is a word puzzle game made by Brelsford Software LLC (“we”). The short version: we don’t collect any information about you.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts and no sign-in. It contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and no third-party SDKs. It does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone, and it does not send your gameplay to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your device

Your progress (which areas and levels you have finished, coins and boosters) and your settings are saved only on your device, in the app’s local storage. We can’t see them. Like other app data they may be included in your own device backups. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

Tilespell+ (an optional subscription, offered from version 1.1) is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account; we never see your name, email, card or other payment details. The app only learns from Apple, on your device, whether a Tilespell+ subscription is active (and its plan and renewal date), so it can switch the subscriber perks on or off. That information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Apple’s handling of purchases is described in Apple’s privacy policy. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device’s Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

Friend board links

If you choose to make a Friend Board, the game builds a link to the web version of Tilespell (jasonbrelsford.github.io/tilespell). The board is stored inside the link itself, not on a server. It contains only what you type into the board maker:

The link is encoded, not encrypted, so anyone who has it can read those details. You decide whether and with whom to share it, using your phone’s share sheet or clipboard. The web version is hosted on GitHub Pages; when someone opens the link, GitHub may process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the page, as described in GitHub’s privacy statement. We don’t receive that data.

Children

Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.

Changes

If a future version changes any of this (for example by adding analytics or advertising), we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
